Jodie Johnson is a horseback riding fanatic from St. Cloud, MN and was raised on a farm. Jodie moved to Carlton when she and her husband got married. After they moved to Carlton, Jodie worked in many different job settings. Her favorite part of Carlton is the Carlton Daze Parade, because she helps out with the floats by handing out candy and making bubbles.

Jodie Johnson is now the Deputy Clerk for the city of Carlton. She has had many jobs before becoming Deputy Clerk. Some of her jobs were ambulance billing, water billing, library director, McDonalds, cleaning and kitchen work at a nursing home, as well as training horses. Jodie’s first ever paid job was a horse trainer in which she actually helped other people train their horses. She also volunteers her time managing the website for North Country Ride. Up until recently, she was a part of the Community Education board. Jodie has had a lot of jobs and is a great part of Carlton today.

Jodie was born and raised in St.Cloud, Minnesota on a farm with her Mom and Dad and her two siblings: John and Julie. Jodie graduated from St.Cloud Technical High, she also graduated with her Bachelor of Science, and Social Work degree from St.Cloud State University. When Jodie was younger, she loved spending time with her horses: Skipper Bee Zombie and Super Buff. When she wasn't showing her horses at local fairs for 4H, she read many books. Her favorite book to read when she was younger was the Billy and Blaze series. Growing up, Jodie also had two sheep named Flopsy and Mopsy who were a Christmas present from her aunt and uncle. She also had a bunch of different chickens that they would butcher around the fall months. Jodie met her husband for the first time at a party that her sister had thrown. She didn't actually start seeing him until she had moved out of her house and had her first kid. After a couple years of dating, they got married and moved here to Carlton to help out her husband's parents. Jodie and her husband had two more kids and now have three grandchildren, one grand-dog, and 4 cats.

Jodie Johnson has had many different, fun, and cool experiences in  moving to and living here in Carlton.
