Daisy Rose is the Community Education Director for the Carlton School District and she is also a substitute for South Terrace Elementary School. She loves to go on trips with her husband, son, and two dogs. She loves being on the school board and also likes to take extra time to sub for South Terrace. She works hard planning events and activities for all of the kids at the elementary school. Daisy is always finding new, fun, and exciting things so learning can be better for the teachers and especially for the students.

Daisy has lived in Carlton most of her life and the only time she didn’t live in Carlton was when she went to college. She went to college in Bemidji, Minnesota for four years and graduated in 2004. Her parents also lived in Carlton for a lot of their lives. They did not want to leave and neither did Daisy.  When she was younger, she and her friends would go on hikes on the Munger trail. They loved to be outside and explore nature while they hiked the trails.

Daisy has a husband and one son. Her son is seven years old. They love to go to state parks and to go camping.  They love to be outside and be active. She also has two dogs who also go on their trips with them unless dogs are not allowed. Her family goes to most of the Carlton activities. They love to give people things to do so they can stay active, be outside, and hang out with their family.

Daisy went to Carlton High School and graduated in 2000. When she was in ninth or tenth grade, they tore down the top two floors of Carlton High School. She says she loves that there has been more improvement in Carlton such as businesses starting to open. But she says we shouldn’t have too much improvement because if we have too much, it will start getting full. She says that Carlton is amazing the way it is and she doesn't want to change that. Daisy Rose is a good person that will continue to do a lot for Carlton. You can meet her at some of the upcoming events in Carlton.
