Student Support Room

The Student Support Room is available for students whose behavior is not acceptable in the classroom. Students will be sent to the Student Support Room with the expectation that they will reflect upon the inappropriate behavior they exhibited and will return to class only when a plan (acceptable to the teacher) for improved behavior is written by the student. Students sent to the Student Support Room will observe the following consequences:

o 1st time sent = warning

o 2nd time sent = one (1) hour detention

o 3rd time sent = three (3) hour detention

o 4th(+) time(s) sent = four (4) hours of detention

Additionally, the student may receive additional or modified consequences depending on the type of behavior that required them to be sent to the Student Support Room. The consequences will be determined based on CHS's disciplinary guidelines.
