The 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) game was titled "INFINITE RECHARGE", presented by Star Wars: Force for Change. Set in a futuristic sci-fi universe, the game featured two alliances of three teams each working to power up their shield generator and protect the city from an impending asteroid storm. Teams scored points by collecting and shooting Power Cells (foam balls) into high and low goals in a central structure called the Power Port. Additional objectives included spinning a Control Panel to specific color or rotation targets and ending the match by hanging their robots from a Shield Generator Switch, which added a strategic challenge of balancing the switch for bonus points.
