​"The basis of FLL Challenge is a robotics tournament in a cheerful atmosphere, where kids and youngsters need to solve a tricky “mission” with the help of a robot. The kids are researching a given topic within a team. They are planning to program and test an autonomous robot to solve the mission. In FLL, students learn about real-world problems that actual engineers face. They then design a solution and a presentation on their solution, which they present to judges at the competition. Through these presentations, students are able to develop and apply their creativity in new and interesting ways. Students also learn about programming and designing robots to autonomously accomplish a series of tasks. They learn about sensors, sequential programming, and time allocation as they design and program a robot that will accomplish these tasks all by itself. Students and Mentors alike have fun working together to create amazing robots.
