Each day in DMA, we create! Using some of the most advanced technologies and in anticipation of technologies to come, our students have all the tools needed to design and create in both artistic and professional routes.
The first quarter of our year together involves extensive practice in photography and photo manipulation.
The second quarter of our year adds new focus in visual communication with the study of graphic design, branding, marketing, and design principles.
The third and fourth quarter of our year introduces digital film and emergent media, leading students into advanced studies in film editing, cinematography, lighting, color correction, visual effects, graphic animation, 3D design, and audio editing.
Sound recording, music production, and web design are also incorporated into the curriculum throughout the year.
Whether Digital Media arts is a hobby, a passion, or a path to a professional career, this is where creativity comes to life!

In DMA, we will do these together in class throughout the year.

Accuplacer exams are used to determine college readiness in reading, writing, and math to help you get 6+ dual enrollment college credits, as well as to assess our curriculum's academic integration. Your scores do not affect your DMA grade, but can be used if you choose to accent your academic readiness!
In DMA, we will do these together in class at the beginning of the year; let us know if you'd like to retake any test to improve your score.
