Ty Thornton

At some point during my Freshman year is when I first heard about this program. It sounded pretty cool, so I applied to Exploratory Tech for my Sophomore year to hopefully increase my chances of getting accepted to DMA my Junior year. The Expo Tech program must've liked me because I got accepted, but I chose to opt out because it wasn't what I was interested in. But I still appreciated CVCC and wanted to be a part, so I became an office aide and got to deliver mail and student passes to all of the programs. I remember walking into DMA to deliver a pass and being amazed by all the cool projects students were working on. I knew I wanted to be one of those students, so I gave it a whirl and applied. My hopes were low because of my attendance the previous year, but a miracle happened. Here I am today, a Senior at Spaulding and CVCC.
