Biology is, as one of the A-Level sciences, a facilitating A-Level, opening up a world of opportunities in biological degrees, biomedical, health and veterinary sciences, as well as in industry and research.
This A-Level complements chemistry and physics, as well as psychology and many other courses.
As with the other A-Level sciences, we follow the AQA curriculum, giving students a similar experience when studying more than one science and, therefore, reducing their overall workload.
Go over your lesson notes after the lesson to reinforce your understanding. Don't copy out notes again. Instead check you understand them and read up on anything that is not clear.
Use past paper questions to revise. Attempt questions, then look at mark schemes, and correct your answers in a different colour.
Attend support/revision sessions. Use these as an opportunity to ask questions.
Use revision guides/workbooks to support your learning. Try to actively answer questions from these by writing down your answers.
