Graphic communication conveys information and ideas through visual means. The most important job of a graphic designer is the effective communication of a message or idea through the organisation of images and words. These designers need to demonstrate understanding of both the user and the audience in order to design appropriately and produce effective material. This course shows students how to use practical artistic elements and techniques, combined with existing designers styles to new ideas.
On this course we offer students the opportunities to explore the main disciplines of Graphics, including advertising, illustration, branding and information design. We give the students a wide variety of designers and artists' to study in their work, as well as encourage them to explore their own styles and areas of interest. Students often find this course very accessible as it is a lot clearer for what the possibilities of the outcomes may be. This course develops a lot of different skills in each individual student and therefore allows a lot of possible career options.
