Ellergy Grange No. 353

This grange was organized in October 1876 at Ellery Center in the house north of the town hall – then owned and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Milo Barney. After that they rented rooms at the hotel that stood on the southeast corner at the center.

The town hall was built and was rented for meetings.

In June 1897 the grange met in Frank Smalley hall, which was formerly a store. In 1899 , the members purchased the building used for their meeting hall.
