Charlotte Center Grange No. 669

Located at 2700 Hooker Road, Sinclairville, NY

This grange was organized March 29, 1890 in George Lander’s hall. E. F. Lake was the first master.

In 1899 a new hall was built on the corner across the street and then moved in January 23, 1900. Fanna Cross (female) was Master. The new hall was paid for by holding public dances.

The grange hall burned on January 7, 1922 as a result of an overheated stove. The group met temporarily at the Charlotte Center M. E. Church. The rebuild of the hall began in the spring of 1922 and the new hall was dedicated June 23, 1923.
