Introduction

This unit describes skills and knowledge required to assemble, pack, load and unload physical elements for productions in the screen, media, entertainment and events industries. It involves preparing physical elements to be transported, moving elements upon arrival and confirming no damage has been sustained during transportation.

The unit applies to those who assist with moving and loading production equipment under the direct supervision of experienced personnel.

Certificate III Unit ONLY

This unit is specifically for the Certificate III part of the course and does not have HSC syllabus outcomes associated with it. You will work through the written content in the above workbook in class (no other Google Sites Lessons are needed for this unit), but many of the hours allocated to this unit will be done practically through two live productions. Your teacher will notify you of these productions. During these productions you will be observed as to your compentency in assisting with bump in and bump out and the identified documentation must be submitted to achieve competency.
