Premise:

Bryan County is the fastest-growing county in Georgia and the 6th fastest growing in the country. The 7th grade Dream Home project gives the students the ability to earn income, find a plot of land, calculate their mortgage, design their home, and build their community. While doing this they also partner with science as they consider the ecological impact of their development and the potential for an increase in roadkill and impact on particular species based on their year-long data collection.
