The question that guided my sustained investigation for my photography portfolio is “How does society alter and change the perception that girls have of themselves, and how does that change them as a person?” The reason why I chose to explore this question is because today’s societal standards affect this generation’s girls more than our peers seem to realize, so I tried to show what girls endure today through my portfolio.
