Create your design in Easel. Login or create an account (it's free)

Standard bit is 1/8 inch spiral
Input your material type, size, and thickness. Check with your teacher or technician for this information.
After creating your design, save it in the following format:
Family Name, First name, Grade
Confirm the settings in your file with the teacher or technician.
Follow the instructions for setting up the router.
IMPORTANT: Students may only use the router with teacher supervision.
Discuss your project with the teacher or technician. Choose your material and size.
Create your design in Fusion 360
Create your DFX sketches.
The video shows you how to do this for the laser cutter, but the process is the same.
Round the inside corners, if necessary. These are called Dogbones.
The standard diameter of the bit is 3.125mm. Use a diameter of 4mm for your dogbones.
You can create these in two ways:
Add 4mm circles to your sketch in Fusion 360 to create the dogbones.
Use the Dogbone app in Easel to create them. Follow the instructions in the app.
Easel has an app for creating dogbones. We recommend it for simple shapes. Practice using.
Import your file into Easel
Use the Import DFX App in Easel and follow the instructions
Confirm the settings in your file with the teacher or technician.
Follow the instructions for setting up the router.
