Our MYP and DP Design program is a comprehensive curriculum that spans from 6th grade to 12th grade. It aims to cultivate critical thinking, creative thinking, and design thinking skills in students. Sustainability is a key focus of our program, as we want students to consider the environmental impact of their designs and take responsibility for it.

Our design courses equip students with the necessary skills for various roles. They develop into proficient researchers, innovative thinkers, and technically skilled individuals. Students study areas such as coding, electronics, CAD/CAM technologies (3D printing, CNC router, laser cutting), fashion and textiles design, furniture design, and game design. Throughout, the focus on research, ideation, creation, and testing and evaluating solutions. 

Overall, our MYP and DP Design program  provide students with a well-rounded education. We aim to foster critical thinking, thoughtful creation, and a design-thinking mindset, enabling them to thrive in diverse fields in the future.

When students reach 10th grade, they have the opportunity to choose from five specialized design courses: 

• Product Design, 

• Computer Science, 

• Entrepreneurship and Design, 

• Robotics Engineering and Design

• Digital Media Design

These 10th grade design classes serve as the foundation for advanced studies in the Diploma Programme (DP). The curriculum is designed to ensure that students can build upon their earlier knowledge and excel in their chosen field.
