Knowing wood and understand the characteristics of it is important to make wise choices in selecting the type of wood for the project you are working on. Availability and the aesthetics of wood are also important factors you need to consider when you work on a project.
The objective of this section is to familiarize yourself with the different types of wood and man-made boards.
You need to complete the following objectives.
Summarizes wood theory by answering the questions regarding different groups of timber and how to distinguish between them.
Create google slide and present it to the rest of the class.
(Slide show will have a cover page, information pages with illustrations and bibliography page at the end.)

Identify the characteristics of the eight common man made boards.
