Evaluation


Evaluation is an ongoing process and should be always in the back of your mind.


A. Test and evaluate the product throughout the project.

B. Don’t wait until you finished the project, evaluate through the whole design process.

C. Make notes on your design and development as you go along; explain what is good and bad.

D. Make sections for evaluation:

  1. How well the product meets the brief and specifications.

  2. Results from the trial.

  3. Problems encounter.

  4. Improvements for the future.


E. Check your Brief and specifications.

  1. Compare the final product with your brief and specifications.

  2. Get someone to trial your product and get feedback.

  3. If the product fails the trial you will have to re-develop it.
