Horizon 8th grade girls Volleyball had an amazing season!

This year the 8th grade girls volleyball did an outstanding job. All of the teams were very successful. I interviewed Megan Hubley who was on A2, Emma Walz who was on B1, and Peyton Sitter who was on C1. They all got asked these 4 questions.

1. How did your volleyball team do this year(wins, losses,Tournaments)?

Megan's answer to this question was “We won all of our games except one, it was a really good season.” Emma said “We didn’t lose any games and we also got first place in the tournament.” When I asked Peyton this question she said “ We played really well and got first place in the tournament.”

2. Who was your coach(comments, attitude, teaching skills)?

Megan had this to say “Mr. Hager was my coach. He was a good couch, I liked him. He had a good attitude except when we were losing.” Emma’s answer was “Jamie Stoppler coached my team. She was really nice and fun but she still got things done.” Peyton said “ My coach was Mr. Barron. He was a great coach he pushed us hard”

3.What position do you play?

Megan and Emma both enjoyed playing Middle Hitter, and Peyton liked to play Outside Hitter.

4. If you could describe your season in one word what would it be?

Megan would describe her season as an “Opportunity.” Emma said it was “impactful.” And Peyton said her season was “Fun”

Overall every volleyball team did very well in there tournament. This has been a very successful year for Horizon Middle school 8th grade volleyball.
