Embarrassing Moments

In this article we will be talking about embarrassing moments from students and teachers from horizon middle school. Us five went around and interviewed the students and teachers and asked them many questions about embarrassing moments in school and class by their students and by themselves.

We’ve all had that moment where we’ve stood in front of our peers knowing that they’re not laughing with us, but instead at us. In this article we will be talking about face flushing, eye watering, good old embarrassing moments that make up Horizon Middle School. Our group has interviewed random students at Horizon to find just a few embarrassing moments. We found embarrassing things that go from being dropped by a friend to 6th graders afraid of girls. Now here are a few of the most embarrassing stories we found.

Here, I have four of our interviewees and their stories of embarrassing moments throughout the year at Horizon Middle School. Our first story takes us to a homebase classroom, where poor Nathan Brady is being edged on to fake fight Isaiah Pajimula. "It was the most embarrassing thing that happened to me this year" says Nathan. Nathan eventually got over the embarrassment of the event and moved on, but as you can see, it stuck with him. Our Second story is about an anonymous sixth grader who was traumatized in front of his entire class when he passed some gas while walking to the teachers desk. This poor student was just going to turn a paper in, and that there, is when things took a turn for the worst. In the interview, the student said that he "I didn't think that many people knew it was me, or even thought it was a fart, because of its high, squeaky sound”, but was still embarrassed nevertheless. this student took a large step in moving forward in telling us this tidbit of information, and it is greatly appreciated. Our anonymous interviewee also had an embarrassing run in with Claudia Purdon who said “hi” to our source, and then it, and its group of friends turned and ran. Our student said that he was embarrassed at the time, but now thinks of it as a laughable memory. The third interviewee is none other that=n 8th grade's Tanaya Aaseth, who peed her pants in front of her entire english class. Tanaya said that she only did it because she was scared to ask the sub to use the restroom, and was severely embarrassed after the event. Tanaya also gave us the liberty of telling us the most embarrassing thing that she had witnessed during the 2017-2018 school year, which leads us to our 4th story. Baylee Carlson who fell out of her chair, and proceeded to get stuck in it while working in the team area. As you can imagine, an event like this is already embarrassing enough, but add the humiliation of being watched by the entire career education class.

Hopefully you enjoyed this article. Maybe it brought up moments of your own or made you laugh a little bit. From 8th graders peeing their pants to 6th graders running from girls this article was meant to show that Horizon may not be a perfect school, but it is a good one.
