Here is where you will find what 8th graders at Horizon are most interested in. We will be going over just a few topics: music, movies, TV shows, and YouTubers! Some of your picks might've been top...

We ended up doing a survey on these topics, and let there be said that this grade has a wide range of interests. So let's start off with music, we asked the question "What is your favorite music genre?" And by far the most popular music genre was pop, at 31.6%! The next genre was rap, at 17.5%. And then country had 12.3%, surprisingly. Overall, most of the respondents chose from the same genres.

The next topic we have is movies, and there were quite a few ties for our favorite movies. For first place we have; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Star Wars tied, scoring 14.8%. For another tie in 2nd plane we have Wonder and Stephen King's IT at 11.1%. Finally, our last tie, coming in at 3rd place, we have Moana, and Beauty and The Beast.

Next we have Youtubers. For first place we have a tie, Logan Paul and The Dolan Twins at 13% each. For second place, Shane Dawson had 11.1%. Finally for third place, we have SimplyNailogical with 7.4%.

Last but not least we have the 8th grader's favorite TV shows. In first place we have Stranger Things at a whopping 27.3%. For second place we have The Flash at 14.5%. And finally our last show coming in at 3rd is Vampire Diaries at 12.7%.

Overall, the results really weren't that surprising. Pop has been dominating for the longest time, nobody could stop talking about IT, Logan Paul most certainly was popular this year, and Stranger Things was the show that started the 80's comeback. Hopefully you guys thought this was interesting to take a look at and read!
