We brainstormed lists together and then decided who we thought would be the best as class president. Students got to choose a character from a book, movie or tv show. We came up with 3 character traits that described the person we wanted to be class president!

Kim Learnard

Our guest speaker, Kim Learnard, came to talk about leadership and what it means to be a leader. She is running for Mayor of Peachtree City.

Our Brainstormed Lists

We brainstormed lists of who can be leader, what makes a leader, positive character traits and characters/people we know that would be good leaders.

We created campaign posters for the characters we chose. We wrote 3 positive character traits about them.

Ms. Bueter's Class

We discussed what it means to be a leader and why leaders are important. Then we talked about leaders in our own lives. We brainstormed a list of book and movie characters that have the qualities of a leader. We discussed character traits and why rules are important. Finally, we picked a character from our list and wrote about what makes them a good leader.
