Sept 9-13

On the Menu this week!

Sept 9-13: This week is spirit week!! It has been so much fun seeing all the different outfits the students and families have come up with!!! Monday was jersey day, Tuesday was character day (students really got creative with this one), Wednesday was students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students (I had quite a few Mrs.Kern look alikes!), Thursday was color day (our color was pink!), and Friday was Bruin Spirit Day!! I unfortunately couldn't get a picture with everyone each day but here are a couple!! Our school counselor KP also borrowed 8 students on Wednesday to help her bake some cookies!! We finished up our volume unit this week in math. We focused in on our different equations to solve problems for volume and if there was missing information - they knew how to find out what it was! We did a fun day of blooket on Wednesday and Thursday we did a connect four unit review to prepare for our volume test on Friday. I loved seeing so much creativity come out this week with spirit week and seeing their personalities shine through more and more!! Here's to another great week!
