On the Menu this week!

Dec 2-6:

Math: This week we dove into Unit 5 which is all about Multiplying Multi-Digit numbers and exponents. Students learned about how to multiply using "powers of 10". Example: "What is 27 x 10 to the power of 8?". 

Social Studies: This week we starting in a newspaper article from USA Weekly about American Indians and learned how they lived, what they ate, and made each of them unique.

I think it's safe to say winter is actually here! What a chaotic weather week we had!
