On the Menu this week!

August 26-30: This week we jumped into NWEA testing and saw some great things!! For those who do not know what NWEA is: students take 2 different tests - one for ELA and one for Math. They get a composite score for multiple different key subject standards and the hope is that their score will improve throughout the year as we learn more! We also continued in our math workbooks and are learning about patterns that we see in the world and how we can mathematically relate them using different diagram forms and use logic to determine what a problem is telling us. In social studies, we continued learning about the aftermath of the Boston Tea Party and are going to be starting a states project soon!! Glad we all survived that insanely hot, humid, sticky weather!!! Nearly all students have chosen their instrument they would like to play in beginning instruments as well!!!
