On the Menu this week!

Sept 30-Oct 4: 

Math: This week we took our Unit 3 Test on Place Value and Number Relationships!! It was a pretty quick and easy unit but very important foundational math skills! Unfortunately, some students didn't do as well as I know they can. I gave each student the opportunity to retest to hopefully get a better score! Many took this opportunity and grew their score by a lot!!! 

Social Studies: We also finished our state project presentations and it was wonderful to learn about all the different US states and what makes them all unique in the few of 5th graders!!! They did great for their first presentation and learned what goes into making an effective presentation! Along with our state project, students are learning more on where each state is in the US and what their abbreviations are! Within the next few weeks they will be able to label a US state map on their own!!

We had SALT as well as a lesson with KP on Monday! Here's to another great week and Wilderness Camp!!!!
