On the Menu this week!

Sept 23-27: This week we jumped back into our math workbooks with Unit 3: Place Value and Number Relationships. This is all about what a decimal means when you move it, determining place values of numbers, relating decimals and fractions, and more. 

We are also beginning our State Poster presentations and I will display those in the hallway before they come home with students! 

Beginning band and orchestra is appearing to get better and better! I walk your students down to the band room and I always go back to get them early to hear them play! 

We also talked about our Respectful Relationships Agreement. This is a school-wide as well as class specific statement that we are going to have respectful and kind relationships within these 4 different categories: Student to Student, Student to Teacher, Teacher to Student, and All to Equipment/Facilities. It was great to hear all of their perspectives of what they value in these relationships and to discuss/know that we all together can make this school a better and safer place! 

Lastly, the students got a exciting chapel presentation about what we are doing for Interterm in October! They are pretty excited to go to Camp Friedenswald and so are we! Here's to another great week!
