All About Mrs. Kern!

I was born in Washington, lived there for 15 years before moving to Pennsylvania for high school. Then I was recruited to play volleyball at Bethel University! I majored in Education and minored in American Sign Language (I am fluent in ASL!). 

This is my third year of teaching! I started at Concord Intermediate School teaching ELA and was there for student teaching and first 2 years of teaching. This is my first year teaching at Bethany and I will be teaching Math and Social Studies. 

I am married to Kory Kern who is a boys soccer coach here at Bethany. I love teaching and working with kids in general. I am the new Head Coach of our Bethany Girls Volleyball team and have loved every second of it! 

I love sports, coffee, being outside, traveling, and hanging out with my friends and family. I am blessed with the opportunity to be here at Bethany and can't wait for an amazing year with your students!
