On the Menu this week!

Nov 18-22: 

Math: We finished reviewing for our Unit 4 Test on adding and subtracting decimals this week. We tested on Wednesday and students are getting the option to retest. We had a really good conversation about how if we are not "locked in" throughout instructional time that many students are not receiving vital information that can aid them when it comes to testing time! They also discovered the immense importance of READING DIRECTIONS!!

Social Studies: We are moving on in social studies to our next activities revolving around American Indians and will be using Social Studies Weekly to help us with that. We also are using a new weekly Jeopardy game through NewzBrain that teaches us about Civics and different things happening in our world today!

The snow season is here!! Please make sure your students are prepared for the cold weather fastly approaching in case we go outside for recess in cold temps/potential snow!

We are so close to Thanksgiving break!! Keep encouraging your students to eat well, gets lots of rest, and drink lots of water to keep the sicknesses away and push through to the holidays!
