Utah STEM Expo will be at the
Mountain America Expo Center
9575 State St, Sandy, UT 84070
on a Saturday from 10:30-2:00. All K-11 students are required to come and participate.
6-11th grade students will demonstrate for 3 hours.
K-5th grade students will have an assigned time during the expo to demonstrate but will not be asked to demonstrate for the whole time.
Students will need to be at the expo, set up and ready to demonstrate before 10:30. More information will be provided in January before the event.
6th - 11th graders: Be sure you bring all the materials needed to demonstrate your project.
Electricity is available only on the front row. If you will need electricity be sure you let us know!
If your project is messy, please bring your own paper towels and/or rags to keep things neat.
SCIENCE FAIR STUDENTS: Yes, you DO have to come. If your student chose to do Science Fair instead of a STEM Project, they still need to come to the Expo to display their board & talk about their Science Fair project.
EXPO Attendance and participation is worth 10% of your science grade.
