How to Add a Sub-page for Your New Project

1--Create a Sub-Page
select Pages (top right of the page)
Click or touch the menu icon (3 squares in a vertical line) next to the STEM Projects page
In the pop-up menu that appears, select "Add subpage"
Name your subpage "#th Grade: Title of your Project"
2a--Add a picture of this year's project to the main STEM Page and link it to your new SUBpage.
Find or take a picture that is a good representation of your project.
Save it to your student Google Drive
Go to the STEM Projects page on your Portfolio Site (Click Pages, & select the STEM Projects page)
Select Insert, From Drive and select your picture press "insert" at the bottom of the page.
2b--Arrange your picture
When the picture is selected, blue dots appear around it. These can be used to change the picture's size.
When the picture is selected, you can drag and drop it to anywhere on the page. Watch for the blue bars that tell you where it will be placed when you drop it. Experiment a little and you will get the hang of it. Use ctrl-z to undo changes that don't work out.
The picture can be linked to the Subpage you created. Select it, then click the link icon
2c--Add a Title and place it above the picture
Select Insert, then Text box.
Type your title in the text box. for example: 7th Grade: Project Title
To move a text box, grab it by the small grid of boxes that appear at the center top. Drag it across the page until its blue bar rests right on top of the picture you inserted to go with it.
3c--Link it to the Subpage you just made
While it's selected, this title box can also be linked to the subpage you created for this project.
Select the title box, select the link in the options at the top of the selected box, scroll through your pages and find the correct subpage you created. You can also select your picture for this project and link it as well. This makes it easier for any viewer to select the link and see the page.
