Uploading video from an iPad

1--Before you start, copy the following text:

2-- In iMovie, hit the upload button (a small rectangle with an arrow pointing up through it) to see the see the uploading options.

• Choose the “YouTube” icon from the options.

• You will see a dialog box that gives you options about uploading to YouTube. (If there is another window that asks you for your Gmail credentials, enter the school Gmail account username and password, so that iMovie can upload to your YouTube Channel linked to your school Gmail account.)

• Title =

Beehive Academy STEM-NAME of your project.

Example: Beehive Academy STEM-Strawberry DNA Extraction

• Description box of your YouTube video paste the text you copied above and delete the tags.

• Category: choose Education

Tags: paste the text you copied above and delete the paragraph about Beehive Academy, leaving just the tags.

• Size: Choose the highest video quality available: HD-1080p.

• Privacy: Set your Privacy setting to “Public”.

• Click the “Share” button on the top right. Wait until the screen on the side shows up.

• YouTube will send you an email once your video is uploaded successfully.

Forward that email to your teacher AND to STEM@beehiveacademy.org. Your teacher will watch your video and let you know if it is ready to be embedded to your Website.

If you don't get your email, go to the video on your Youtube channel, copy the URL and paste it into an email for your teacher.
