Communicate Ideas: Demonstrates an understanding of a specific audience by communicating and collaborating using verbal and non-verbal behavior, languages, and strategies that are appropriate to the specific audience.

For this unit, during freshman year we looked at two countries to research for our project for summit night just like in science. The ISSN objective “Communicate Ideas” goes with this project because we had to communicate as a group as well as with our audience what was going on in those two countries at the time which my group and I executed well. While writing about our current events we had to choose current events that are also somehow related to what we have going on in the United States. So we chose climate change and air pollution but we also decided to choose illegal fishing even though we don’t deal with illegal fishing in the U.S.

While we were doing this project there were many steps to get to the final project and not everything went smoothly. If I were to do this project again I feel like I would’ve chosen a different fourth person just because our ideas clashed very heavily against each other and it didn’t do either of us good but instead made us stressed out even more than we had to be in the long run but other than that portion of the project everything worked out very well and I'm glad that I choose these two countries to research because it made me learn somethings I would’ve never spent time looking at otherwise.
