Recognize Perspectives: Identifies and describes how perspectives affect how people interpret and respond to a situation, event, issue, or phenomenon.

During this unit in Freshman year we had to pick a group of people to talk about that are in our everyday lives. I choose to talk about everyday heroes like our teachers, coaches, and parents. The ISSN objective “Recognize Perspectives” ties to identifying how different people's perspectives can teach us new things. While writing this paper I had to think about how these people did not just help me as a whole but as well as others, so that’s why I decided to pick those three certain groups of people.

While writing this paper I looked every day at how they helped me and how they help others, but I already knew how they were helpful to others so I didn't really need to do any in-depth research about them because I picked them based on the way they acted before this assignment even came about. I feel this paper is one of my best pieces of work from freshman year because it shows what I believe in and how I am able to view people from a different way.  If I were to go back and do this paper again I don’t think I would write anything differently because in the end my coaches didn’t help me all the way through high school but they still helped me learn from the past and they still have helped others achieve their goals and ambitions.
