This past year I decided to take a step outside of my comfort zone and join the student council, at first I said I was just going to join the club to get a cord, but I realized I could help and make a difference in the club so I leaned into be abilities and decided to help in any way I can. This ties to the ISSN Goal of Taking Action. Even though this club runs through the school there are so many places it connects to like bear hugs, adopt a family, and many other places throughout the community. 

My reflection on the club is that I would do it over and over again and I wish I had done it the past 3 years of high school. I always feel so accomplished whenever I get done with a task that Ms. Hull tasks me with. Some of those tasks were ones I would’ve never thought I would be asked to do but since I just clicked with her I’m in her class all the time doing little things she needs help with, but I love it, I love helping others. I don’t think I realized how much I like helping until this year. I will for sure miss this club. The artifact below is from when I had to sort through the piles of gifts from Adopt a Family. Which was a huge task but so rewarding especially when I got to help pass out the gifts to the families.
