Hello, Park City Bears! My name is Jason Esters, and I am the School Counselor at PCE. I am so excited to be starting my third year as part of the PCE family! I am looking forward to working with you and your students to make this the best year ever.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and my Master's in School Counseling at Western Kentucky University. I am entering the 22nd year of my educational career. I taught math at the high school level before becoming a high school counselor from 2015 to now. In addition to being a counselor, I was also an Athletic Administrator for seven years from 2016-2023.
As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the Park City students, staff, families, and community. I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups, conducting classroom counseling lessons, meeting with parents, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of every PCE student. I want to be your greatest advocate and support you in your growth as a student and person.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you have an concerns or just need to talk. I am so excited to get to know each of you and work with you throughout the school year.
