The School Day

School begins at 8:45am and ends at 3:15pm. The total of school hours per week are 32.5 hours. This time runs from the official start of the school day to the official end of the compulsory school day. It includes breaks, but not optional before or after school activities.

For most classes, Phonics, Reading and Writing activities take place before break at 10:45am. After break, maths takes place from 11:00 until 12:00. Other areas of our curriculum are then taught during the afternoon sessions.
