Admissions

Admissions into school for children of Reception age and above are dealt with centrally by North Yorkshire County Council. Parents can contact the admissions team on 01609 533679, or click here to find out more information as well as an online application form. Prospective parents are welcome to visit the school by arrangement with the headteacher who will be more than happy to show you around. 

All three and four year olds are entitled to a free early education place before they reach statutory school age (the beginning of the school term immediately following the child’s fifth birthday). We admit children into our Nursery the school term after their third birthday. Currently, we run a morning Nursery session from 8.45- 11.45am, and the children who stay for the afternoon join our reception class.
