Our YES GOATs have some familiar faces cheering them on! Maya and Veera Puri of Level Up Tutoring have returned for another year to help our YES students with their homework and support their academic growth.
Through homework assistance, encouragement, and guidance, Maya and Veera help students work through challenges and build confidence in their learning. Their continued commitment reminds our students that becoming their greatest takes practice, persistence, and people who believe in them!
We are grateful to have Maya and Veera back on our team. Thank you for helping our YES GOATs level up, one assignment at a time!

During academic time, our YES students applied reading strategies and annotated a relatable passage about hair weaves and protective styles to strengthen their vocabulary and reading comprehension.

Students in Ms. Byrd’s Designers & Entrepreneurs enrichment class are designing vases for potential sale—turning their creative ideas into business possibilities. Our YES GOATs are budding entrepreneurs!

Students in Mrs. Grable’s Adventure Academy enrichment class explored the benefits of moving their bodies through dance, with Makayla taking the lead in an impromptu dance session! 😂 A little movement, a lot of laughter, and plenty of fun!

Welcome Back, YES Families! 🎉
We are excited to welcome our YES students and families to the 2026–2027 school year!
We officially kicked off our first day of YES on Monday, August 17, 2026, and we have already hit the ground running! Our students have been settling into their after-school routines, completing homework and academic assignments, receiving additional support, and participating in engaging enrichment activities.
On August 27, 2026, in conjunction with Oak Hill Middle School’s Title I Parent Meeting, we hosted our YES Parent Orientation. We were excited to connect with our families, share expectations for the year, and discuss how we can work together to support student success.
As we get into the swing of another great year, our focus remains on providing students with a safe, supportive, and engaging after-school environment where they can strengthen their academic skills, explore STEAM-based enrichment opportunities, and continue growing as learners.
We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, exploration, and achievement! Thank you to our YES families for partnering with us. We are excited about everything the 2026–2027 YES school year has in store!

At YES, every minute matters! Our daily schedule is intentionally designed to provide students with a balance of meaningful academic support, engaging enrichment experiences, and opportunities for personal growth.
During academic time, students focus on homework completion, strengthening essential skills, receiving individualized support, and improving their overall academic performance.
During enrichment time, students explore their interests, develop new skills, express their creativity, and participate in hands-on learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom.
