It's no fun to get behind when you miss class. When you are absent and you miss a lesson and homework from each of your classes, the work that you need to make up can quickly snowball.
Fortunately, in math class, we have a procedure you can follow to help you stay caught up when you are absent from school. For each day that you miss math class, follow these 3 steps:
Consult the class calendar on the 8th Grade Math homepage to identify the class lesson on the day of your absence.
Log into the CPM ebook and do the lesson for that day. If necessary, feel free to consult the Class Notes for extra guidance.
Refer to your Chapter Stamp Sheet for that night's practice assignment. You can access a copy of the Stamp Sheet here. Log into the CPM ebook and do the assignment (Review and Preview).
Note: If you miss a Critical Thinking Challenge, a Mastery Check-In, or a Fix-It, you can make it up upon your return.
