Jeff Russell led the Centurions to Back to Back Empire League Championships and to the CIF-SS playoffs before losing close games in back to back years to Redondo Union.  The efforts of Coach Russell's teams throughout the season and playoffs led him to being named the CIF-SS II-A Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.
