In 2007, Cypress was victorious over California High School of Whittier in the CIF-SS Division 3AA championship game, 3-0.  Leading the way for the Centurions was senior outside hitter, Lauryn Herrick.  For her exceptional play she was honored as the CIF-SS Division 3 Player of the Year.
