Your child’s physical and emotional safety are critically important to us. We will work together to keep our campus safe by ensuring that we are following the most recent Department of Health guidance with regard to Covid-19. In addition, we will be teaching and practicing our school-wide behavior expectations and emergency drills through-out the year.
Emotional safety is also an important consideration for the coming year. Children learn best when they feel welcome and known at school. We recognize that some of our children have not been on our campus for over a year. We will dedicate the first few weeks of school to getting to know classmates, reviewing important social skills, and to learning strategies for managing the difficult emotions that we all face from time to time.
Each child will receive a letter from their teacher prior to the start of school. You can also find your child’s teacher through Skyward Family Access. Family Access is a web-based program that gives families access to attendance, grades, lunch balances and more. Through Skylert in Family Access, families can specify which phone message to receive and sign up for text messages.
Below you will find the additional information you need to start the school year successfully.
I look forward to seeing your family at Open House, please note a Virtual Open House will be provided on our website, more information to follow.
