Overview

All ASD employees have access Microsoft Office 365. This includes products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook. Outlook is the application that ASD employees use for both email and calendar (note: students use Gmail). Access Office 365 Products at Home

Microsoft Office 365 is available to all staff and students (K-12) at no cost. This product allows staff and students to install Office products on up to 5 devices for both PC and Apple Devices. To access Microsoft Office 365, staff and students can go to http://login.microsoftonline.com.

All staff and student will use [Google Username]@auburn.wednet.edu and their network password to login to Office 365.

Staff and students can also download office products up to 5 personal PCs using their ASD Office 365 accounts at the Office Download Portal. Students will not be able to download Outlook as a part of the suite. To access student email, students should use Gmail at mail.google.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I save to Google Drive from Office 365 Products?

1. When saving a document from an Office 365 program (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), choose the Save As option, and then Browse.

2. From the File Explorer window, locate the the H: drive (under This PC or possibly pinned in the Quick Access area)

3. My Drive will save the file in your Google Drive, or choose Shared drives to save in one of your Shared Google Drives (if available).

If you do not see the H: drive or your My Drive or Shared drive folders, ensure that your Google Drive is active by clicking on Google Drive from the Start Menu.

This should be a one-time operation.
