UDL Tools

What is UDL?

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework that addresses the different ways people learn, and helps educators implement a variety of learning experiences for students. Adult learners have preferences for how they take in new information and demonstrate knowledge of learning. As educators, we have the ability to build our students' capacity for understanding their preferred learning styles.

What are UDL tools?

UDL tools provide students with access with options. They empower students to make learning choices that fit best for them. For example, if a student learns best by having auditory supports, they have tools available to them to have text read aloud. Here are some examples of tools we have available to support with UDL. Your Tech Coach can always provide more support incorporating these into your classroom.
