Overview

All Auburn School District employees have an Outlook email account ending in @auburn.wednet.edu. To access their email, employees can use the Outlook desktop app on any district PC, the Outlook Web App from any computer or Chromebook connected to the internet, or the Outlook mobile app (available on the Apple and Android stores). Outlook provides staff access to their email and calendar.

Outlook Spam Filter

Outlook has two features that you can use to manage junk email. Emails can either be blocked or allowed.

Blocking Email

Email can be blocked using two methods.

  1. Right-click on the email, and choose Junk -> Block Sender from the menu.

  2. From the Home tab, click Junk -> Block Sender

Allowing Emails

Email can be released from the Junk Email folder, and prevented from returning, using two methods:

  1. Navigate to the Junk Email folder, and find the message that is not junk. right-click on the message, and choose Junk -> Never Block Sender from the menu.

  2. Navigate to the Junk Email folder, and select the message that is not junk. From the Select the Home tab, click > Junk -> Never Block Sender
