Library space promote inquiry
The ITLC at AMS/AHS is very user friendly for promoting inquiry. New tables and chairs were purchased last year to promote group work. The library at AES also gives the same feel with the tables. The library at Maple Grove is small, and thusly work in research will be done in classrooms.
Library space promote collaboration
The AMS/AHS ITLC is very user friendly for collaboration. The ITLC is set-up into Pods in with new tables that have white boards as the top. These pods can be moved easily to promote more collaboration. At AES, the space is open where students can work with coding of Spheros and Dash robots. The library at Maple Grove is small, and thusly work of projects will be done in classrooms.
Library space to encourage creativity
Two distance learning labs are currently attached to the AMS/AHS ITLC for advanced use. Creativity is promoted in both AES and Maple Grove with using the coding robots.
Library space accessible for the entire school community
The AMS/AHS ITLC is set up for accessibility for the whole school. Most every study hall during the day is housed in the ITLC.
The ITLC can be signed out through Google Calendar. Speakers are able to present in the ITLC. Staff meetings and club meetings are/can be held in the ITLC as well.
At AES, the library can be signed out as well for meetings and club gatherings.
At Maple Grove, students are welcome in to fit the size of the room.
