Scholarship Application and Renewal
for School Year 2025-2026
for School Year 2025-2026
The Intersession Request Form is a required document that must be submitted by ALL scholars planning to enroll in Intersession SY 2025-2026. The Office of Admission and Aid (OAA) will review each request to determine how many units will be covered by the student's scholarship grant, if any.
Please take note of the following:
Overload units are NOT COVERED by your scholarship grant. You may refer to your official curriculum for the list of subjects you need to take. Overload units usually result from the following:
Re-taking subjects because of WP (Withdrawal with Permission), W (Withdrawn), or F (Failing) marks
IPS-movements (i.e. advancing or delaying subjects) due to shifting
Additional units for Minor Degree
For those who took basic courses (e.g, MATH 2), displaced subjects are covered by your scholarship grant.
If you NEED any additional financial aid for Intersession 2025, please upload a separate Request Letter signed by you and your parents.
For DIRLIST ONLY Scholars: Kindly note that DIRLIST Only Scholars (those who are not recipients of other scholarships) have no support during the Intersession Term. The DIRLIST grant of P100,000 is given during the First and Second Semester (P50,000 each term). DIRLIST Scholars with a 50TF financial aid grant, on the other hand, will receive a 100TF support during the Intersession term for non-overload units.
For DOST ONLY Scholars: Please note that DOST Only Scholars (those who are not recipients of other scholarships) have a fixed DOST grant of P10,000 for the Intersession term.
The deadline for accomplishing the Intersession Request Form is on 15 April 2025, Tuesday, midnight.
The Scholarship Update Form is a mandatory requirement for Financial Aid scholars seeking to renew their scholarship grants annually. Scholars holding other types of scholarships, such as Merit, Academic, or DOST-only are not required to submit this form.
For School year 2025-2026, significant changes will be implemented in the application and deliberation process of the Scholarship Update Form. These adjustments are being made to ensure that the limited scholarship funds are directed towards students who are genuinely facing financial challenges. The details of these changes are still being finalized, but scholars should anticipate a more stringent and thorough application and deliberation process.
In the meantime, it is crucial that you review the Scholarship Update Form Primer (seen on the right) carefully and begin preparing all required documentation for the renewal of your scholarship without delay. You may also download the Primer by clicking the button below. We will post more announcements about the Scholarship Update Form within the next few weeks.
Ateneo College students who wish to apply for a Financial Aid Scholarship may only apply for a Financial Aid Grant covering 25% or 50% of Tuition and Fees. Please note that students with a grade of F or W in any subject are not eligible to apply.
Given the limited availability of grants, priority will be given to students who are most in need of financial assistance, have consistently maintained above-average academic performance, and have demonstrated service to the Ateneo community.
We are currently reviewing the entire application and deliberation process for the Financial Aid Scholarship. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to review the Scholarship Application Primer (seen on the right) and begin preparing the necessary documents for your application. You may also download the Primer by clicking the button below. We will post more announcements about the application process within the next few weeks.
