3rd and 4th Grade Team

On the 3rd and 4th grade team students learned about how with attachments and sensors robots can help simplify our daily lives. Students built an attachment for the front of their robot that could collect objects. The team learned about three sensors: ultrasonic, color, and touch. With those three sensors the group programmed their robot to: detect an object and stop before hitting the object, to stop and/or turn at a specific color, to follow a line, and to turn when their robot touched a wall.

Most recently, students learned about this year's First Lego League Challenge Cargo Connect and have started to prepare for the competition.
