Weeks 10-14

The 3rd and 4th graders have started to work on this year's FIRST Lego League Challenge: Cargo Connect! The theme of this year's challenge is cargo due to the supply chain issues that began during the pandemic and persisted throughout.

The challenge is divided into two parts: the robot game and the innovation project. For the robot game the students have built the game elements for each mission, have built the robot they will use to begin solve each mission, and have begun designing and creating attachments, as well as programming their robot to solve each mission.

For the innovation project students are beginning to learn about how cargo is transported around the world. As the team learns about the supply chain, they will identify problems within it and brainstorm an innovative solution.
